SpaceCamp dives into new video for "Surrender to the Night"

"Those that dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds awake to find that all was vanity; but the dreamers by day are dangerous men, for they may act out their dreams with open eyes to make them possible." -T.E Lawrence

We had the pleasure of catching up with our friends, and kick-ass Dallas band,  SpaceCamp last week as they shot the video for their new single "Surrender to the Night". The single (think a fresh blend of Outkast/Kanye and Radiohead) will be the title track on their upcoming sophomore album. The song tackles world issues, the apathy of good men and implores us to be the change we want to see.

Other tracks already released from the "Surrender to the Night" album include "Dancing with the Devil" that takes on making positive moves in life without regretting bold action. "The Lover" approaches the emotional casualties of war beyond the battlefield. "If This is Goodbye" empowers others to change their stars in the everyday and how that can impact the course of the world. Powerful lyrics, dangerous flows and serious music beds... these boys are on to something big.

After the success of their first album, The Daydreamers Guide To: Wasting Time, SpaceCamp is looking to continue their journey of pushing the boundaries of conscious hip-hop and experimental textured rock.

As if that weren't enough to get your music pants going, the SpaceCamp gang also shares our passion for everything local, for giving back to the community  and for representing the city of Dallas.

Frontman and lead vocalist, Tomahawk Jonez and the rest of the SpaceCamp fam are also one of the featured bands at the upcoming Uncle Sam Jam this Friday, July 5 at the Curtain Club in Dallas.

We'll be there avoiding our significant others and trying to nurse the July 4th hangover. Don't be lame...come  hang out.

Stay tuned for more news and updates on upcoming Blacksheep Original X SpaceCamp projects.
