Blacksheep Family Joins S.A.F.E., 2013 Lineup for it's Second AnnualEvent in Dallas.

The Spreading Awareness For Epilepsy (S.A.F.E.) group kicked off its second annual "No More Seizures: Music Rocks Your Body, Don't Let Seizures Do The Same" event last week at Green Elephant Bar in Dallas. S.A.F.E. is a group of young professionals united in advocacy for epilepsy, first aid, and education. Their annual concert and fundraising campaign, in memory of young Aurelio "Bello" Sanchez, directly impacts the programs and initiatives of the Epilepsy Foundation of Dallas.

The benefit concert featured an eclectic blend of sets from prominent Dallas bands like Paco Estrada, Circle Other, Frankie J Martinez, Space State, and Space Camp. Cutter, who was recently nominated by the Dallas Observer Award for Best Electronic Act, helped to headline the show.

The Green Elephant's indoor/outdoor scene, allowed the S.A.F.E. crew to also feature a local, outdoor vendor market. Dallas Indie mainstays like Azimo, Rejkt Clothing and Alexa Machine Company anchored the outdoor booths and helped the cause by donating some of their sales' proceeds towards supporting S.A.F.E.'s local initiatives.

Fresh off the incredible success of Indie in the Big D, The Alexa Machine Screen Printing Company was a featured vendor and jumped in on a fresh colab with Blacksheep Original to create the official event shirt.

Blacksheep Original featured items from their Black, White and Stripes series as well as three select pieces from their new "Premium" line inspired by Hawaiian florals, Dallas-based street art and the Mexican "Dia de los Muertos" (Day of the Dead) celebrations.

Team Blacksheep also donated a portion of their event sales as well as "gift-in-kind" banner work. All proceeds from the S.A.F.E., 2013 will directly impact the programs and initiatives of the Epilepsy Foundation of Dallas.

Special thanks to the S.A.F.E. Crew, The Alexa Fam, Azimo, Refined Cloth and YAOTL for the helping spread the word, and all that came out to support local Dallas initiatives.
